Isn't it interesting how Etsy peeps HATE eBay (generally speaking, of course), and yet, what is the most common payment method used on Etsy?
PayPal.
..and who owns PayPal, hmmmm?
eBay!
Seersly, people! I find it rather odd that people feel that strongly about eBay, to begin with. Just because you like one thing, doesn't mean you have to hate the other. Plus, if you really do feel that way, don't offer PayPal. You're feeding the beast.

I have a new favorite show! It's called "Yo Gabba Gabba", and is on Nick Jr. There is a new episode on at 1, and Jehu and I have a date to watch it, together. This is her favorite song from the first episode. It's my favorite, too!

The coffee shop is still raging. I looked up the noise laws last night, online. From everything I found, they can make noise from 7am-10pm...which is exactly what they're doing. They even have a red one of these!:

ZOMG, this summer sucks. ahahaha! I think it's less "this summer sucks", and more "it's called life, get over it".
Anywho, enough of that.
My mama opened up an Etsy shop! She is selling little books, which is funny, because her name is Paige, but I don't think she thinks it's very funny.

This one is my favorite! :D
She's more like a Princess from an Anime movie, than a Disney movie. She had to have her appendix removed, a few weeks ago. A week after that, she caught the flu, and the next week she caught pneumonia. Her only complaint throughout the whole ordeal was that it delayed the opening of her shop (she has three children at home, ages 6-14, mind you!)! XD She should have named her shop PrincessCrazyFace.

Well, that settles it!
I was pretty sure I was going to name my Blythe doll, Toast, and guess what item of mine is currently being featured on the Etsy homepage? I'll give you a hint, it's toast.
In just one week, I've developed a whole new obsession. Some poor Canadian convo'd me about custom buttons, and she had a Blythe doll in her avatar, so I gushed to her. At least she seemed somewhat interested. :P
I want Toast to arrive in the mail, tomorrow. I don't think she will. :(
In happier news, Michael is totally stoked, because I no longer have any right to make fun of him for playing FFXI all the time.
....but of course, I will. |

Um....this is my Mother's Day present from Michael:
Yeah....I first saw Blythe on eBay about 9 years ago, and instantly fell in love with her.
I didn't buy one at the time because they (the originals) were $200-$300.
I wish I had, though, because now I will never ever own an original. :(
The flip side of that though, is that they are being reproduced, and don't cost $200 (well, usually).
I already LOVE HER! Michael liked this one, because she looks like I did, when he and I first met.
He keeps bugging me to dye my hair back to black.
To spite him, I bought this wig:
which is actually really close to what my hair looks like now.
I'm so conceited!
And so I can live through my new doll, I also bought one of these:
I wish I could grow a fro. :(
My brother and dad can, but I got all the white girl genes.
All. Of. Them.
Gee, can you tell I've been stalking Blythe fashion sites, the past few years. XD
She still need a name....Toast? Rocket? Miette?
I'm horrible at names. Maybe I'll just name her Kyle.

I wonder if people ever read my descriptions. The one for this item is pretty goofy, and most of them are. Am I the only one who detests reading normal descriptions? Same thing goes for bios. As long as you get all the important info in there, please entertain me, as well! |
